  The emphasis of the ninth grade program is the Science or Engineering project. Each student is responsible for selecting and researching a topic, perform hands on work, and present to the rest of the group at the end of the MEPI year. The projects are presented at the Science Fair in April, to the MEPI 9th grade group and parents.

  In addition to working on the Science projects, students will be involved in a different workshop each session. workshops will stress team building, creativity, presentation and math skills. Based on availability of funds, the 9th grade students will visit an automotive plant and tour a college campus during Spring Break.
