Program Engineering Manager, Control Systems Hardware
Allison Transmission

Crystal has worked at Allison Transmission for over 25 years in Product Engineering.  In Embedded Controls, her roles included lead Transmission Control Module engineer where she received a green belt in Six Sigma,  Program Engineering Manager for Hybrid Products and Program Engineering Manager for the Embedded Controls Hardware.  In these roles, she assisted in the development of the 5th generation products, which have realized the best quality metrics in Allison history.  In Engineering Services, she was the Construction Program Engineering Manager, overseeing the multi-million dollar state-of-the-art refurbishment of the engineering test department.  In this position, she received a CEO Award for Outstanding Achievement in 2017.

Crystal grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana, graduating from North Central High School.  She received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University’s Indianapolis campus (IUPUI).

Crystal currently serves as a member of WETAC (Women in Engineering and Technology Advisory Council) at IUPUI and volunteers for various STEM activities.   She is also an active member of the Indianapolis Alumni Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and is an active volunteer at Wheeler Mission.
