Bill is currently the President of the Board of Directors for the Minority Engineering Program of Indianapolis (MEPI). Bill Scott retired as Executive Director of the Christamore House Family and Community Center in November of 2015 after 5 years of leadership. He retired in 2008 from Eli Lilly and Company after 36+ years. His Lilly roles in experience included leadership roles in maintenance, Plant Engineering, and Manufacturing and technical roles in Automation, Commissioning, and Measurements Standards. Bill graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology. He was recognized by Eli Lilly and Company as a Chairman Ovation Award winner for his diversity efforts within Lilly and in the Indianapolis community. In 2018 Bill was a featured awardee of Sons: Seeing the Modern African American Male” an interactive traveling exhibit revealing differences between the perceptions and true identities of Black men in America. Bill is married and has one daughter and one grandson.
