MEPI Board of Directors, Vice President
Courtney Powell is a 2003 graduate of University of Michigan, College of Engineering with two B.S degrees (Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering). GO BLUE!!! Courtney moved to Indianapolis from the Detroit Metro area after college and joined Eli Lilly and Company. She’s held several engineering, operations, and management roles at the company and currently is the Director of Engineering – Asset Delivery within the Indianapolis Device Manufacturing Organization. Courtney has been a volunteer with MEPI since 2003. In the past, she’s volunteered as a facilitator for both the 11th and 12th grades and joined the Board of Directors in 2010. Courtney has a passion for STEM education and providing opportunities and mentors for minority students in her community.
I believe a strong support system, exposure opportunities like MEPI, hard work, and dedication were the fundamentals for my own success. I’d like to be instrumental in providing this same foundation to others, and I look forward to witnessing the great achievements they accomplish.
