Eric Dickerson
Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Eric has had a wide and varied career. Shortly after receiving a B.S. degree in engineering from Western Michigan University, he entered the U.S. Marine Corps’ Officer Candidate Program and attained the rank of Captain.
As a Marine pilot, he served with the U.S. Navy’s 6th Fleet flying from various ships in support of amphibious operations. After seven years on active duty, he accepted a position with Detroit Diesel Allison and relocated to Indianapolis.
Eric has worked in corporate America for General Motors, Allison Engine Company, Rolls-Royce and Allison Transmission Inc. He has held executive positions in public relations, advertising and communications. He also held the position of corporate pilot, on a part-time basis, for over 25 years.
Eric also owned and operated a successful auto dealership, Eric Dickerson Buick, and ran for U.S. Congress in 2006. Eric lives on a farm in Sheridan, Indiana. His hobbies include horseback riding, gardening, raising animals, and flying.
